DHQ Hosts Navy Inter-Service Sports activities

The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) mentioned it was set to carry the 2022 Armed Forces Inter-Service Sports activities Competitors (2022 AFISSC) from Sept. 18 to 23 in Abuja.

The Director, Defence Info, Maj.-Gen. Jimmy Akpor, in a press release mentioned the competitors would happen on the Mogadishu Cantonment Sports activities Complicated.

Akpor mentioned the 2022 AFISSC was an initiative of the DHQ to afford the providers of the armed forces the chance to compete and work together with each other within the spirit of sustaining the camaraderie that exists amongst them.

He mentioned the 2022 AFISSC would have athletes, each female and male from the Nigerian Military, Navy and the Air Power competing in 5 video games.

The video games, in line with him, are Basketball, Cross-Nation, Soccer, Taekwondo and Volleyball.

He mentioned the competitors could be declared open by the Minister of Defence, Gen. Bashir Magashi on Sept. 20.

“Different dignitaries anticipated on the event would come with the Minister of Youth and Sports activities, the Chief of Defence Workers, the Service Chiefs, Inspector Basic of Police, senior army officers, the barracks neighborhood and lovers of sports activities inside Abuja metropolis.

“Accreditation in addition to preliminary matches and video games would begin on Sunday.
