Members of the Islamic Motion in Nigeria (IMN), Shiites, took to the road on Saturday, in Abuja, demanding the unconditional launch of worldwide passports of their chief, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky and his spouse, Malam Zeenatuddin Ibrahim.
Recall that El-Zakzaky, his spouse, had been in detention for about seven (7) years in the past, following the conflict between the Nigerian Military and the Shiites in Zaria, Kaduna State in December 2015, which led to the killing of a number of members of the IMN
The protesting Shiites included kids, women and men, who marched from Central Space via Wuse market and ended at Jabi.
